Kirk’s 30-plus years in association management provides a unique perspective on the challenges faced by associations and other not-for-profit organizations. Kirk leads a dedicated team of professionals who are serving a diverse group of state, national and international associations. He provides overall leadership to the team and is often engaged in board development and strategic planning.
In a world of constant change and increasing complexity, Kirk has shown the ability to keep organizations focused on the most important outcomes. In addition, when needed, he has helped create new systems and new approaches that have enabled organizations to act quickly and decisively.
Kirk is a graduate of Iowa State University where he earned a degree in Political Science. He serves on numerous local, state and national boards. He and his wife are the parents of four adult children. Kirk’s other claim to fame is that he successfully served as a Little League baseball and softball coach for 10 years.
