Lynn has been hanging out with caring, committed, inspiring leaders of not for profits for well over 30 years. She can totally get behind a group of board directors and committee leaders who want to make their organization the most impactful in their industry. Lynn believes that members should be valued and events can be inspiring. She’s a volunteer in her community and professional association which helps her relate better to what it’s like on the other side of the table.
Lynn left her family farm in northeast Iowa because her high school guidance counselor thought she should attend business school. After earning an Associate Degree, work and family life intervened but eventually graduated with a bachelor’s degree at the age of 30. She’s the happiest about earning the Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation which gives her a chance to explain to her family what she does for a living.
When not working on picking out the perfect gift, Lynn loves to travel, read and entertain. Her husband Jim, adult children Anna (John) and Paul (Samia) plus granddaughter Josephine make her house a home.
