Darcy is a technology enthusiast. Her passion for discovering and developing IT solutions provides innovation for her association clients and makes the lives of her teammates better. Darcy's natural curiosity about how things work drives her to find new ways to do things better using technology. Some of her friends call her a geek.
A Certified Association Executive (CAE), Darcy has been a part of the company's success for over 30 years. She began as an Administrative Assistant and worked her way to Executive Vice President of a state-wide, professional association. Over a dozen years ago, she started working with association technology full-time, and the rest is history. Darcy's "special sauce" is understanding technology through the lens of an association executive, a former meeting planner and an association member.
A proud Iowa State University alum, Darcy is a passionate college sports fan. She’s a third-generation graduate from the university, following in her grandmother's footsteps from the 1920s. Outside of work, you can find Darcy in a state or national park. Her favorite is Shenandoah National Park in the Blue Ridge Mountains, trekking along Skyline Drive. Darcy loves exploring pre-Civil War towns, discovering local artisans, appreciating art and history museums, enjoying the latest movie release, and making the pilgrimage to Wrigley Field to cheer on her Cubs. She also enjoys staying home to putter in her community garden and share her famous homemade, marinara sauce recipe.
